Terms of Service
These Terms of Service describe the rules for using CarnivalStories, CarnivalShowcase, and the related pairing, gallery, and event experiences.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using this service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What the service provides
The service lets users create and open pairing codes, display Google Drive-based albums on web and TV, share galleries, and use event-based photo upload and moderation workflows.
Your responsibilities
- You must only use folders, media, and content that you own or are authorized to use.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of links, folder permissions, and event setup details.
- You must not use the service to upload, share, or display unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
Google Drive and third-party services
Some features depend on Google Drive, Firebase, hosting providers, and other third-party services. Availability, performance, and permissions may be affected by those providers.
Event uploads and moderation
For event features, uploaded media may first appear in a moderation queue before being approved for live presentation. The event owner is responsible for reviewing and managing event submissions.
Availability and changes
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, improve, or be removed over time without prior notice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business-related damages arising from use of the service.
Termination
Access may be suspended or terminated if the service is misused, if required by law, or if the platform needs to protect its systems, users, or partners.
Contact
For questions about these Terms, contact the support or business email associated with the service.
